Santorini

Santorini hosts over 1.5 million visitors annually – so you know that the island is doing something right! Once you’ve seen a sunset in Santorini, its beauty will be imprinted in your mind for a lifetime. There are wonderful wines to be tasted, glittering sea swims to be swum and a remarkably vibrant nightlife! If you’re up for a walk and a bit of post-party contemplation, consider a walk. Amidst some of the most bold and bright natural beauty on earth, take a stroll in Fira north to Imerovigli by the caldera-edge footpath.

The town prescribes no private cars in its limits and so strolling, cycling and even horse-drawn carriages are all permitted. This type of inner town dynamic creates a lovely atmosphere for all travellers. Don’t worry, you’ll still have access to taxis, ferries and hydrofoils too. The beaches are beautiful and naturally, predominately enclosed. Explore the closest beach to the town center, Agios Mamas and Kaíki. You can enjoy a wonderful array of watersports and private dining with bespoke offerings and of course, fresh local produce.

Things To Do in Santorini:

  • Scuba Diving: for excitement, you can’t beat Aspronísi where wrasse and damselfish live.
  • Photography: for volcanic dark-grey sand scenes to set the mood, head to tidy Kamári.
  • Spa: spoil yourself with some Santorini style spa sessions ranging from thermal to custom.
  • Dining: be sure to have ‘Dinner with a View’ opposite the caldera.

Milos

Milos will undoubtedly make you sigh. It’s like an undiscovered little diamond, sitting pretty, just waiting to be found. Its natural form, curves, twists and turns, are absolutely astonishing. As you stroll on land in Milos, you’ll notice incredibly variety in its landscape colours, complimented by cool, bright ocean blues and greens.

Two million years ago volcanoes formed craters, responsible for one of the largest Aegean harbours to-date. Hippocrates praised its hot springs, springs which still bubble up today! Aesthetically pleasing, largely untouched and hardly bustling with business, it’s the white-yellow beachy beauty to surrender to, and contemplate (or create!). Explore the infinite array of tiny seaside cafes and restaurants all strewn about in walking distance from one another, and revel in the local museums archeological findings, before making friends with local villagers.

Things To Do in Milos:

  • Eat: at Medousa at Mandrakia – the waterside taverna.
  • Swim: the perfect aqua waters amid cool stone scenes.
